Cavs Fans or A Lebron Fan?

I Greg McMullen would like to talk about one of the biggest uproars in basketball history “The Decision” an hour special in which Superstar Lebron James made his ultimate decision to leave Cleveland, Ohio. Moments after making this decision fans started to burn his jersey and ridicule him making shirts that said Lying King. Although many were divested by this decision I felt that Lebron shouldn’t have gotten this type of negative heat thrown at him by his ex fans of Cleveland and Akron. What most do not realize is that single handedly Lebron made the gun and now know as the “Q” sellout numerous times and set multiple records in his 7 year career with Cavs including MVP of the NBA. To conclude on this topic about “The decision” which were you Cavs Fans or A Lebron Fan?

  1. I'm sure you'll get some worthwhile comments, given that this is a topic that high schoolers can relate too.

But kids, let's not forget the directions: Please reference your posts.

  2. I agree with Mr. McMullen. While the Cavs fans have a right to be upset, I don't believe they should have put this much negative heat onto Lebron. Lebron has stayed with the Cavaliers for 7 years, and while he has been apart of the team he has averaged 26.7 points, 6.4 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game for his career. Needless to say, he has contributed greatly to the Cavs recent success. But at the same time Lebron has been here for seven years and the Cavs haven't won the championships yet. I understand him wanting to move on to a team that has a better chance at the championship title. So when it comes down to it, i would say im a Lebron fan.

  3. I can see where you two are coming from but, in my personal opinion, I feel that LeBron knew at the begining of his last season that this would, in fact, be his last season with the cavs. you can clearly see that in game five he simply didn't try. He just sort of gave up when they were down when he sould have tried to do something about it. Letting Shaq lead and get the most points(21) and only getting 15 is very sad. As for the "LeBon" fires and all the betrayel by the fans its unnecessary. I was Honestly embaresed to be a cleveland fan. And i was never a true LeBron fan his ego was way too huge. He left because he wanted a ring and he's blaming everyone but himself when hes included in the problem. So i would say now i'm a Cleveland Cavs fan, not a LeBron james fan.

  4. Mr. Fallucco,
I think you make some valid points; however, your points would carry more weight and legitimacy if you used upper and lower case letters correctly.

  5. I beleive that LeBron is not a traitor in the circumstances he was in. Yes, he was a star for Cleveland and Cleveland did give him his first shot in the NBA, but his contract was up. After the end of a contract the player, now a free agent, has the ability to choose which team he joins in on next. Whether that is staying with their old team, or moving to a new team. The coaches in every professional sport have the ability to trade there players. The player can be on the Boston Celtics and Dock Rivers can come in and say your traded, pack up, and get out of here. This can be done to any player, but Cleveland was upset that LeBron didn't let them know of his situation. He gave every team with interest an equal chance to make their home look the best. Miami just did the best at this. LeBron isn't a traitor, but I am still a Cleveland fan no matter the circumstance.
