On thursday january 20th at 1:10 p.m in southern californa a great outerspace feet was accomplished. The launch of the Delta 4 Heavy Launch Vechile was a succsess.Standing at 23 stories or 235 feet tall this technelogical marval is the largest space rocket to ever be launched on the west coast. According to the Los Angeles times the force of the blast off was said to break windows miles away and cause earthquake fears threw out californa. Also according to the Times the rocket was said to be carring a super spy satellite,said to be able to the highest quality of detail pictures from any satellite.

ReplyDeleteTechnology has advanced so much even in the past ten years it's pretty shocking. It's so amazing to think that we have the ability to make such things and ways to learn about the Earth. Fifty years ago this sort of thing would probably have been unthinkable at the time. With technology today we have the power to truely research and examine things such as space which otherwise we wouldn't know nearly as much about. I definitely think it is a positive thing to have this type of technology around because it allows us to be more knowledgeable about our world.
